Shalyce is one of the models I've known the longest. She is an incredibly dynamic woman! She's a wife, mother of 2, HBCU grad (JCSU), entrepreneur, event planner, co-director of DMV Fab Wives, member of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority, and overall dope individual. What's one thing you've done that you're super proud of? I'm super proud that I've grown my Sensational Soirees team. I remember when I started the company almost 8 years ago and to see where we are now, with more than 1 planner on the team, makes me so proud. Learning skills and then being able to pass those skills on to someone else is a very rewarding feeling.

Name a woman you admire and why. Eunique Jones Gibson - the founder of Because of Them We Can and creator of Culture Tags. I have loved watching her genius from afar and all the work she does for the culture, all while raising her family. She inspires me as a fellow mompreneur and is a testament that black girls rock and that women can successfully run their business while raising their family.
