September is the January of the fashion world! It marks the beginning of a new year in fashion and a great time for a fresh start. It also marks the beginning of the school year and the end of summer. In the midst of all the Back to School madness, Team Pulchritude encourages our friends and fans to use this time to set some fashion goals, or shall we say "Fashion New Year's Resolutions". As you know we like to keep things simple, so we've narrowed down just a few things to help you this fall/winter.
- PURGE - If you didn't wear something the entire fall/winter season of 2014/15, GET RID OF IT! Donate it and bless someone who could use it. Chances are that if you didn't wear it last year, you're not going to wear it this year. Don't kid yourself with the "this could come in handy" or "this is really good quality" thinking. If you didn't wear it last year, let it go!
- ONE GOAL - Set ONE fashion goal for yourself. When it comes to fashion, many people get overwhelmed because they try to take on too much. Building a great wardrobe takes time. If you're not naturally a shopper or a fashion lover, this is a great way to help yourself. Focus on one thing you'd like to change or add to your wardrobe - more scarves, more blazers, less black and more color, more dresses, etc. Just pick ONE thing and do that one thing really well!
- HAIR CHANGE - Consider a hair color change during the winter months. Depending on where you live, the winter months can be dreary, cold, and not-so-fun. Consider changing your hair color to liven things up a bit! If you haven't changed your hair style and/or color in over a year or two, it's time! Take a chance and do something different!
"Symplifying" fashion for you!
