Meet the Models Series: Jenni Clayville (2 min read)

When I think of Jenni, one of the first words that comes to mind is ENERGY! She has an amazing energetic quality about herself that is magnetic. And that's a great thing because Jenni is a pastor. I met Jenni when she joined the staff at National Community Church as one of the first female campus pastors. She's a trailblazer. When my daughter shared how happy she was to see a minority female take this role, it became even more clear to me how significant Jenni's presence, position, and influence would be. She is vibrant, funny, bold, and she loves the Lord. She has a heart for serving and building up others. She's also a boss in the gym (you should see her...

Make Room For Mushrooms

Most of us remember Lady Gaga's infamous meat dress. If you don't, at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards, Gaga wore a dress designed by Franc Fernandez that was made of RAW BEEF. Renters Wanted (2 min read)

We rent cars. We rent homes and apartments. We rent bikes. We rent boats. We rent office space. And now some of us are renting clothes. This trend of renting wardrobe items was popularized several years ago by Rent the Runway, an online service that allows customers to rent designer clothing and accessories for much less than the cost of purchasing these items. The success of RTR has inspired others to do the same and now we have many options for clothing rentals. Here are 5 benefits of renting clothing: 1. REDUCES TEXTILE WASTE So many garments that are produced each year end up in the trash and eventually the landfill. Renting can help reduce the waste. 2. SAVES MONEY  This is...
