When I think of Jenni, one of the first words that comes to mind is ENERGY! She has an amazing energetic quality about herself that is magnetic. And that's a great thing because Jenni is a pastor. I met Jenni when she joined the staff at National Community Church as one of the first female campus pastors. She's a trailblazer. When my daughter shared how happy she was to see a minority female take this role, it became even more clear to me how significant Jenni's presence, position, and influence would be. She is vibrant, funny, bold, and she loves the Lord. She has a heart for serving and building up others. She's also a boss in the gym (you should see her workouts).

What is something you're working on? How can we support you? I've been in ministry for over 2 decades now, and something that has kept me going is support from other women in similar life spaces as myself. In my situation, it's ministry and leadership as a minority female. A ministry that has been a huge part of my support system is Leading and Loving It. It was originally launched as a ministry to support Pastor's Wives and women in leadership so we have archives of resources. I want to encourage any woman that considers ministry her full-time career/calling to check it out. We can do what we do through the power of the Holy Spirit and a strong support system...especially other women.

What's one thing you've done that you're super proud of? I've kept two human boys alive for 15+ years. I wasn't doing that great with plants before this, so the bar was low.

Something you wish every woman knew? "And one day she discovered that she is fierce, and strong, and full of fire, and that not even she could hold herself back because her passion burned brighter than her fears." I have this tattoo'd on my body just to remind myself. There is so much for us if only we didn't allow fear to overcome us.
